Ramadan Experience: Tips and Advice
The title may seem strange Is it the
first experience of Umrah? In fact most of the people of Jeddah and those close
to Mecca have a nice habit of performing Umrah during the entire Ramadan
season. In this post I will talk about my experience in Ramadan this year 1433
e with some simple notes and instructions that may benefit the reader.
This Ramadan I have tried twice. First
of all I was a driver and the other one intended to do Umrah and the two tests
are completely different and you can deduce the appropriate method and the best
time.
First experience: On the 7th of
Ramadan (Wednesday) the house was out at 11pm and it was back at 9am the next
morning! In this experiment, the process of driving the car to the Grand Mosque
at the side of Ajyad
The second experiment: On the 12th of
Ramadan (Tuesday), leaving the house was 4 am and the return was at 9:15 in
this experiment was the process of driving to the positions of KDE and then by
bus to the Grand Mosque. At this time I performed Umrah. I can mention some
details, such as Umrah (tawaaf + age + shaving), which took about an hour and a
half. From 6:30 to 7:30
From my previous experiences, I can
summarize my observations as follows:
1 - The choice of time is very
important not to waste time in traffic or road and almost years of experience
found the best time immediately after dawn where there is a pool.
2 - the place of stopping the car is
important as well as from experience also found the best place is the KDE then
the point of sorting and worse is to stop the car at the campus because the
internal roads in Mecca as usual be crowded.
3 - For the cruise there is no
solution to the congestion Unfortunately!
4 - Seeking my opinion the best place
in the basement where the traffic light and also there is cooling closed and in
Ramadan this summer cold point I think an important factor in the activation
and enthusiasm.
5 - For those who wear ihram, be sure
to use Vaseline in areas of friction.
6 - Bring a colorful dress (an
Egyptian dress or a nightgown) and put it in the car. Very useful after the
performance of Umrah and return fast change where wearing Ihram is difficult to
move and reduces the flexibility of positions.
7. Movement and mobility of men is
always much easier than women. In both trials we were men and women but from
several previous experiences Umrah with men is faster and more flexible. Of
course there is nothing wrong with the presence of women, but this is just a
remark.
8. Make sure to bring a small mobile
phone easy to put in the pocket.
9. Do not rush!
I will update the list in case of any
danger to me
And God accepts us and from you. Do
not forget me of good prayers
